Find Answers to Common Questions
Choosing the right consulting partner is an important decision. Here are answers to the questions we hear most often about our services, process, and approach.
What services do you provide?
We offer five integrated service areas: grant writing and funding strategy, fundraising and donor engagement, web and AI/automation, strategy and program development, and marketing and business development. Engagements can be standalone or combined into a comprehensive retainer.
Do you work with new or small nonprofits?
Yes. We work with both early-stage and established nonprofits. We tailor scope and pricing to organizational size and capacity. Our Grant Funding Strategy is designed as an accessible entry point for smaller organizations.
How does the grant writing process work?
Every engagement starts with a Funding Strategy and Plan. We screen 200+ grant opportunities using a proprietary weighted scoring model, identify the 10–20 best-fit targets, and map them to a 12-month application timeline. Then we write, submit, and manage applications using boilerplate content that reduces cost and turnaround on each successive grant.
Do you guarantee grant funding?
No ethical grant consultant can guarantee funding. What we guarantee is a rigorous, strategy-first process that maximizes your probability of success. For context: we helped one client turn a $10K consulting investment into $158K in grant revenue within 18 months.
What information do you need to get started?
We use a structured Project Planner to capture your organization's mission, programs, target populations, partnerships, funding history, and goals. This becomes the foundation for all grant research, applications, and funder outreach. Most clients can complete it within a week.
Do you provide ongoing support after a grant is awarded?
Yes. We offer grant management services including budget tracking, funder compliance documentation, internal and external reporting, monitoring implementation, and renewal proposal submissions. Many clients lack internal staff for post-award work, and this service protects funder relationships and positions organizations for continued funding.
How long does it take to prepare a grant proposal?
Most proposals take two to six weeks depending on funder requirements and complexity. The Grant Funding Strategy itself takes four to six weeks. Because we build boilerplate content during the first application, subsequent proposals are significantly faster.
Do you help with fundraising beyond grants?
Yes. Our Strategic Funding Plan covers all revenue sources: grants, individual donors, corporate sponsors, events, and partnerships. We also build donation platforms (Donorbox), CRM systems, and donor engagement workflows. Not all funding needs are best served by grants, and we help clients build diversified, sustainable revenue.
What makes NetBridge different from other grant writers?
Three things. First, we start with strategy, not applications. Most grant writers take whatever opportunity a client brings them. We screen 200+ opportunities first and build a plan. Second, we bring 30+ years of corporate strategy experience to the nonprofit sector. We treat funding as a business problem, not a paperwork exercise. Third, we are full-service. Grants, fundraising, marketing, technology, and business planning all under one roof.
Do you work with faith-based organizations?
Yes. We have deep experience positioning faith-based missions for secular funders without compromising organizational values. Our approach separates program delivery from organizational identity to maximize funding eligibility across funder types.
How is pricing structured?
All engagements are priced as fixed fees or monthly retainers. We never charge percentage-based fees on grants won. Pricing is tailored to the engagement scope and your organization's stage of growth. Get in touch for a quote →
